WHEN: From late morning through the evening hours today
WHERE: Mainly along and north of the I-10/12 corridor
CONFIDENCE: Moderate confidence in severe storms today
Impacts: The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:
- Damaging Winds: Wind gusts greater than 50 mph will be possible.
- Large Hail: Large hail up to 1 inch in diameter will be possible. Wind blown hail could cause additional damage.
- Heavy Rain: Storms today will be capable of heavy rainfall with rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour.
