News

• Paycheck Protection Program to Resume Monday – The SBA has announced that it would resume processing Paycheck Protection Program applications Monday morning at 10:30 am EST.  Last Friday, President Trump signed legislation that appropriates additional funds, including $321 billion for small business aid through the PPP, and $60 billion to replenish the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, with additional funding for hospitals and COVID-19 testing as well.  You can read more here.
• Governor to Announce New Guidelines – With the current “Stay At Home” order set to expire on Friday, May 1, and Louisiana moving closer to the 14-day trends recommended by the White House, Governor John Bel Edwards is expected to announce his directives for the coming weeks at a press conference tomorrow.  You can read more here.
