Heading into the first week of July, pavement preservation work continues across a number of local streets in Tangipahoa Parish.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Material Resources, Inc. crews will be patching the following roadways during the week of June 29:
- Wares Road;
- Virginia Road;
- Woodhaven Road;
- General Ott;
- Giluso Road;
- Booker II Road; and
- Drude Road.
Miller said crews will also be sealing cracked pavement on Henry, Wares, Spitale, and Virginia Roads.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes, if possible, while crews are working. Intermittent delays are possible during construction periods, and all work is weather-permitting.
No work is scheduled on Saturday, July 4, due to the Independence Day holiday.
