Multiple cross drain projects and sealcoating work will be on tap in Tangipahoa Parish during the week of August 17.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said parish road crews are planning to replace multiple cross drains along McKinley Loop and Tammy Drive on Tuesday, August 18, and on Melanie Circle on Wednesday, August 19. Work is scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily and construction signs will be posted.
Miller said sealcoating is scheduled this week on Woodhaven Road, Randall Road, and Giluso Road. Material Resources, Inc., is completing this work as part of the parish’s pavement preservation project for 2026.
Miller encourages motorists to use alternate routes while crews are working. All work is weather-permitting, and intermittent delays can be expected around these construction zones.
