PONCHATOULA—Dressing work continues on a number of local roadways during this first week of August.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be putting finishing touches on more than a dozen roads throughout the parish this week. Dressing work does not require closing the roadway, but there may be delays as crews are working in the area, Miller said.

Scheduled for completion this week are:

– Monday, Aug. 1: Natchez Street, Mooney Avenue, South Elm Street, Celia Avenue, West and East Green;

– Tuesday, Aug. 2: Fern Street, Lee Farm Road, West and East Bennett Lane; 

– Wednesday, Aug. 3: West and East Bennett Lane; Lanier Road, North Rateau Road;

– Thursday, Aug. 4: North Rateau Road, 11th Street, Rue Monet;

– Friday, Aug. 5, and Saturday, Aug. 6: Forest Lane, Beckendorf, North Lee Hughes Road.

In addition, RPC crews will be patching Rufus Bankston Road for the first part of this week. According to the schedule, they will be working in the area Monday through Wednesday, weather permitting.
