PONCHATOULA—A portion of West Hoffman Road will be closed starting Tuesday, Aug. 2, as crews install asphalt.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the contractor plans to pour asphalt over the stone base, where new cross drains were installed for the West Hoffman Road bridge replacement project.

To complete the scope of this work, West Hoffman will be closed in that area for three days, starting with Tuesday, Aug. 2, and continuing through Thursday, Aug. 4, weather permitting.

Signs will be posted. No traffic will be allowed in the construction zone during this period.
