Severe Weather Possible For Wednesday, October 27, 2021

WHAT:  SLIGHT RISK of Severe Weather

WHEN: Wednesday through Wednesday night.

WHERE: Almost all of SELA and southern Mississippi.


  • Confidence is increasing for the highlighted area having a potential for severe weather.


The main threats associated with any severe storm will be:

  • Strong damaging winds

  • Isolated tornadoes

  • Large damaging hail

  • Rainfall totals up to 2 inches possible

Please relay any reports of severe weather or flash flooding or severe weather to our office ASAP.  You can send reports via NWSChat or by phone.  If emailing pictures, please send them to <sr-lix.forecasters@noaa.gov>.
